What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Delivery Driver position at Home City Ice?
Ice Delivery Driver - CDL B Not Required to start, we train
Perfect for College Students!
- Deliver to local convenience stores, gas stations, large grocery stores, and various other customers
- Average of 12-15 deliveries a day, Average of 10 hours a day
- Delivery drivers are responsible for invoicing and basic communication/interaction with the customers
- The ideal candidate is a competitive person who is not intimidated by hard, physical work, with an outgoing personality who’s willing to work until the job is done
Earn $$
- Commission/bonuses for motivated employees, the more you deliver the more you make. There is an hourly base rate, but your earnings go up the more bags you deliver to the stores.

No experience needed- we train!!
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Chauffeur License required by start date upon hire
- CDL license not required upon hire but must obtain a CDL B permit within 3 weeks of your hire date- After that we provide paid training for you to obtain a CDL B license
- Must have a clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical, and drug screen
Requirements:
- Ability to repetitively lift and move product in quantities of 7lbs and 20lbs
- Ability to maneuver a loaded buggy with 400 lbs in and out of customer stores
- All employees are required to have the availability to work summer holiday weekends and the days surrounding the holidays as those are our busiest days (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)
- Must be able to obtain CDL

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
