Job Summary
Apprentice will work with a certified journeyman technician, learning the trade, and eventually becoming eligible to test for a journeyman position.
Responsibilities and Duties
Position requires apprentice to follow direction of journeyman on residential job sites.
During the rough in stage of construction the new hire will install electrical boxes, wiring, service equipment, low voltage/ security cabling.
At the finish stage, the apprentice will be installing electrical, control devices, hanging light fixtures, and installing speakers, access points, and audio video equipment.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a minimum of one year experience in the residential electrical or low voltage field.
Must have a current electrical trainee license.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must have tool pouch and basic hand tools.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be punctual, and willing to work hard.
