Director Supply Chain

Position Purpose :

Director of Supply Chain directs and has overall responsibility for strategy and tactical execution of facilities functions for 60 THD distribution centers. Oversees and responsible for planning, directing and reviewing activities and operations of the facilities department, including building construction, grounds, material handling equipment maintenance and automation required to support DCs. Builds partnerships with Operations, Asset Protection, Distribution Engineering and Building Services to collectively develop and execute strategies, initiatives and scheduled maintenance services in order to deliver safe and high performance facilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Coordinates activities with outside regulatory agencies in order to assure compliance with OSHA, federal, state and local codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• 30% Manages team to develop and maintain and utilizes various tools to enable effective development, education and direction of staff. Selects, develops and motivates assigned staff.
• 30% Develops, plans and implements department's goals and objectives; recommends and administers policies and procedures; coordinates department's activities with those of other THD and SC departments.
• 20% Develops and implements sustainable and reliability centered maintenance programs and concepts. Establishes KPIs to measure and validate operational excellence.
• 20% Establishes short and long range capital plans and executes projects in a timely and fiscally responsible manner with utmost customer satisfaction.
