The Asset Protection Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding our stores from financial loss and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. This position is responsible for identifying and preventing incidents of theft, fraud, and other forms of shrinkage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preventing financial loss through the implementation of effective security measures and procedures.
* Monitoring CCTV footage and exception reports to identify potential security threats.
* Conducting regular audits of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborating with law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute cases of theft and fraud.
Additional Requirements:
* Demonstrating integrity and professionalism at all times while interacting with associates, customers, and law enforcement officials.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of apprehensions and recoveries, as well as preserving evidence in support of these efforts.
* Reporting any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and taking steps to minimize risk to themselves and others.
