Position Purpose :
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Category Analytics Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for providing actionable insights through the analysis of procurement sourcing events, exploring category data, helping to drive strategic decision-making and finding operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data cleansing, modeling, and analytics, with experience using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Python, BigQuery, and SQL. Strong communication skills are a must, as this role involves translating complex data into clear and actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
40% Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, colleagues, developers and business analysts to deliver high quality analytics solutions
45% Data analytics with large volumes of data, using a wide variety of database applications / analytical tools including SQL, SAS, R, and python
5% Data cleansing, validation, testing
5% Enhancements / modifications to systems & procedures
5% Supporting end users, problem solving, troubleshooting
Direct Manager / Direct Reports :
Reports to a Sr Manager, Decision Analytics.

Travel Requirements :
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications :
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications :
Proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and modeling.
Expertise in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
Experience or familiarity with Procurement practices, competitive sourcing events, negotiations, contracts, savings management, etc.
Experience with other business intelligence and data analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI, R).
Solid experience with BigQuery and SQL for database management and querying (preferred).
Strong command of Python for data analysis and automation (preferred).
Familiarity with machine learning or predictive modeling techniques.
