Job Summary:
The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator will oversee inventory management and supply chain logistics to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products. This role includes maintaining records, analyzing demand, and implementing systems to optimize inventory control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
- Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
- Order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving quality materials at cost effective prices, on-time
- Coordinating logistics inbound from vendors and outbound to customers
- Finds the right transportation solution to ship and receive loads on time at the best cost possible, without damage
- Assisting the Factory Manager in the operation of a safe and efficient factory.
- Practicing safe work habits.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- 3-5 years’ experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or procurement
- Willingness to develop new ideas and implement into standard process
- Preferred 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering industry
- Able to work in a warehouse environment with significant temperate ranges
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Team player willing to step into other roles when needed for short-term basis
- Able to travel on occasion for training and education purposes.
