- Three (3) years of experience performing maintenance and/or preventative maintenance of apartment complexes and/or housing sites.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver license.
- Completion or the ability to complete the OSHA Asbestos Operations and Maintenance Initial Training Course (OSHA Class III).
- Successful completion of position-based knowledge assessment(s).
- Eligible for membership in the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 701.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All maintenance staff are required to wear Home Forward's approved uniform, appropriate footwear and personal protective equipment required of specific work tasks. Maintenance staff must have the ability to wear and use a half mask respirator, which includes being cleared through a medical questionnaire, and the maintenance of facial hair in a manner that allows the respirator to seal without the intrusion of hair between the seal and skin.
