Home Forward is seeking a Rent Assistance Services Coordinator to support our Project Based Voucher (PBV) team. The Rent Assistance Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and operating rent assistance programs for eligible individuals and families to support housing stability for people in our community. This role involves assessing client eligibility: conducting interim and annual eligibility reviews; coordinating housing inspections and contracting with housing providers; providing information and guidance to applicants, participants and landlords regarding Home Forward and HUD policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; and performing a variety of technical and administrative tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.

Three years of increasingly responsible social work or social services experience with an emphasis on direct client work with individuals/families, case coordination, and program development. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in social work, social services, or a related field preferred. A related degree may substitute for work experience requirement.
