Home Franchise Concepts is seeking a creative and talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design initiatives, contributing to the visual identity of our brands, and creating compelling graphics for both digital and print mediums that resonate with our audiences.
The junior graphic designer is responsible for producing visually appealing designs that effectively communicate brand messages and drive the intended action of our brand, Budget Blinds. Your creativity and attention to detail are essential as you collaborate with multiple teams to develop marketing materials and digital content. This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow while showcasing your creative skill.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create visually engaging graphics for both digital and print mediums.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling designs that align with brand identities and guidelines.
- Produce engaging marketing materials such as marketing tool kits, sales sheets, product guides, design guides, event collateral, email, display and social media creative.
- Assist in the development of layouts, logos, and other design elements.
- Incorporate feedback and revise designs as necessary.
- Support with other projects and requests as needed.
- Ensure all designs align with the Budget Blinds visual identity and brand guidelines. Maintain consistency in color schemes, typography, logo use and overall design style across print and digital media.
- Source images from online stock and in-house image libraries that adhere to brand standards.
- Work comfortably with templated designs as well as custom creative work.
- Prepare final design files for production, properly formatted, and ready for both digital and print production. This includes creating print-ready PDFs, optimized digital assets, and other necessary file types.
- Modify designs for various digital formats. This includes desktop, mobile, social media, and email platforms. This may include resizing images, adjusting typography, etc.
- Proofread and check designs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Skill Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience via a portfolio or other work examples showcasing creation of graphic design materials such as advertisements, artwork, banner ads, social media posts or other.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant creative tools.
- Proficiency in Canva.
- Understanding of design principles and fundamentals, typography, color theory, layout, design, print, and web-ready graphics.
- Knowledge of pre-press and proper preparation of art files for professional print production.
- Creative, conceptual thinking abilities and attention to detail.
- Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
- Ability to align creative efforts with broader business objectives.
- Capable of maintaining and completing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
- A passion for creativity and a willingness to explore new ideas and approaches to achieve results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Certifications in a related field can be beneficial.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ proven experience in a creative graphic design role, preferably within an agency or marketing department.

The pay range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000. Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education and work location.
