The Senior Brand Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving brand growth, overseeing marketing initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency across multiple franchise brands. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business and financial success.
Essential Job Functions:
Brand Strategy & Vision
- Define and execute brand vision, mission, and high-level objectives aligned with corporate goals
- Lead strategic planning to position brands effectively in the market
- Serve as approver for key content initiatives including creative, social, media, and SEO
- Oversee National Ad Fund (NAF) strategy and usage. Develop NAF investment strategy.
- Serve as the subject matter expert within the brand organization, leading marketing strategy. Collaborate with brand leaders across the portfolio as stakeholders in the HFC marketing strategy execution.
- Develop and execute Local Area Marketing (LAM) strategies
- Provide franchisees with streamlined, easy-to-implement marketing templates and playbooks
- Communicate marketing initiatives and updates to franchise network
- Assist in training and onboarding new franchise locations
- Offer structured support through periodic, standardized communications on key marketing initiatives
- Lead branding and customer experience initiatives
- Define, execute, and enforce critical brand guidelines across marketing materials
- Prioritize high-visibility elements such as logos, core messaging, and visual branding
- Maintain continuous knowledge of all initiatives, identifying opportunities and resolving obstacles
- Be familiar with the tools and able to create analysis of performance reporting for franchisees
- Partner with Shared Services for Marketing Performance Analytics reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Operations, and IT
- Ensure the Voice of the Customer (franchisee, employee, and end consumer) is incorporated into solutions
- Meet regularly with partners on brand initiatives and marketing program
- Data-driven decision-making

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5 years of experience in B2C marketing and advertising environments
- Proven track record in implementing strategy and executing campaigns
- Strong background in local area marketing, digital media placement, and brand development
- Experience in franchise or multi-unit business environments
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
