What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pest Control Technician position at Home Guard Pest Control?
- Perform structural pest control on homes and/or businesses.
- Handle, store, mix and apply materials as directed by a pesticide label.
- Use of mechanical traps and other products to traps and/or exclude rodents from structures.
- Maintain professional licenses required by the Structural Pest Control Board and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Work in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Lift, carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work independently while maintaining good communication with your manager.
- Must be available to work and accept calls Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm and during peak season Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle and equipment.
- Provide unsurpassed quality customer service.
- Meet and/or exceed performance standards set by the company.
