Pay: $21 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Hours and Schedule: Approximately 4.5 to 6 hours per week, working 1.5 to 2 hours each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Start time is 4pm and shift ends at 5:30pm or 6pm. Hours may change

Overview of the Role
The Janitor will clean the offices of Home and Health Care Management on a regular basis during the work week.
Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a pre-employment medical exam, DOJ Livescan fingerprinting check, and background check.
We are not looking to subcontract this role so direct inquiries only please.
We will supply all of the cleaning tools and supplies necessary for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You are responsible for cleaning the office space three days per week. To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform the following duties successfully:
- Empty trash at each desk/cubicle and common areas like conference rooms, and replace with clean liners in each trash can
- Dust desks, bookcases, file cabinets, furniture, window blinds, and other work spaces
- Clean glass entry way doors . Windows and screens are outsourced every 6months to an outside vendor
- Vacuum carpeted floors and empty the canister after each use. Wipe down baseboards if present at least one time per month.
- Mop and sanitize hard floors
- Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets and floor, empty trash, replace plastic liners in mop bathroom floors, clean mirrors, toilets and sink each visit. Restock paper towels, toilet seat covers and toilet paper. Notify supervisor if supplies running low.
- Clean kitchen areas. Dump trash, replace liners and empty recycle bins when full and reline with plastic liners, replace paper towels as needed.
- Lock buildings and set alarms at the end of each night and close any blinds or window shades that were left open.
- Identify any broken furniture or cleaning equipment that needs to be serviced or repaired or reordered, by speaking with your supervisor.
- Other cleaning duties as assigned
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Punctual in starting work, and able to achieve the cleaning schedule
- Responsible and communicative
- Can lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report
- Your own vehicle and proof of current auto insurance
Prefer previous experience in cleaning corporate offices, but will accept housecleaning experience as well.
