Job Overview
We are seeking a live-in compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support for a 94 year old female. This live-in position comes with free rent, cable, internet, own bed/bath, and lots of free time for you. Basically get small meal/snack, coffee, help with mobility if needed. Small salary and free housing in exchange for being a companion.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met while promoting healthy eating habits.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety during these activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality regarding personal information.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving such as lifting and moving clients safely.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on client needs.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
