Job Overview
The Home Health Care Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of home health care services. This position is responsible for ensuring that quality care is provided to patients in their homes, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and managing staff to deliver effective health services. Duties
- Oversee daily operations of home health care services to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in coordination of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the company including, but not limited to human resources management, maintenance of personnel records/files, contracts management, and policy development and fulfillment.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and be the point person to guide through the onboarding process.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Assist in payroll, billing, claims, and staffing as needed.
- Manages quality assurance and quality improvement programs and cheer quality improvement committee.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled workforce.
- Ensure effective communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding care plans and progress.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust services as necessary to meet individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in home health care administration.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least three years of professional experience
- Knowledge of business and financial operations
- At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health or related health programs. Other related health programs may include a hospital, nursing facility or hospice.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Proficient skills to promote excellent client relations and customer skills.
- People management skills and the ability to network and manage a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
