Responsibilities
- Supervises, coaches, mentors, evaluates performance of direct reports, including but not limited to Quality Specialists, Specialty Services Department and Coders (employees or contract staff).
- Establishes Agency goals, objectives and priorities for continuous quality improvement activities based on home care/hospice outcomes, division goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Sets clear expectation to staff on the Agency and Departmental goals.
- Oversees the auditing and coding functions for the organization.
- Directs all required quality, regulatory audits.
- Coordinates quarterly quality meetings to address and guide continuous quality improvement issues and activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health care related field
- Knowledge of hospice and homecare regulations
- Experience with quality benchmarks, outcomes and staff training to meet the desired goals
- Effective problem solving, organizational, time management and multitask skills
- Ability to analyze statistical information and put it into format needed, requiring strong computer skills (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to organize, present quality initiatives and outcomes both verbally and in writing
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with demonstrated skills in meeting objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Effective in building and maintaining strong relationships with state and federal agencies and state offices.
Required
- Professionally licensed in the state of NH
- CPR Certification.
- Satisfactory criminal record.
- Satisfactory motor vehicle record.
