Job Description:

Summary:
This position will demonstrate competency in communication with all age patient populations: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric.
The individual will be assigned to one or more agencies and has responsibility for growth of the agencies’ market share. This individual shares responsibilities for successful functioning of the agency with the Service AVP and works closely with the Home Health & Hospice teams to ensure success.
Primary responsibilities include working with referral sources (hospital case managers, physician offices, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Senior Centers, etc.), patients, and the Home Health and Hospice teams to facilitate admission to these services as appropriate. Complete intake process in the medical record and ensure that all information is correct to allow for safe patient care and correct billing. Problem solving, intervening, and assisting to resolve patient complaints, are also part of their primary responsibilities.
This individual will balance the needs of patients and the agencies represented with the philosophy of Ballad and will ensure integrity in all activities. She/he will find cost effective ways to educate referral sources, the medical community, and the community at large about these services.
Works closely with the Intake and Marketing Supervisor to carry on the marketing plan and educates team members regarding customer service. Individual is capable of effective public speaking. Maintains a professional appearance and is courteous. Access to patient information is necessary to fulfill the requirements of this role; therefore, adherence to Ballad privacy and security policies and practices is a must.

Requirements:
General Marketing and/or 3 years Home Health marketing experience preferred. Home Health & Hospice payor rules knowledge preferred. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Computer literacy required. Excellent verbal communication skills required. Must have dependable transportation. Must carry current personal collision and liability insurance on any vehicle driven

Licenses and Certifications:
Must maintain current driver's license in the appropriate state
