What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Home Health?
Overview:
I am a quadriplegic seeking compassionate In-Home Caregivers to provide essential assistance to my daily life. As my caregiver, you will play a crucial role in my life by helping me with activities of daily living that I can no longer do independently.
Positions open are mornings all days of the week, and as needed evenings when my roommate is out of town
Responsibilities
- Assist me with personal care tasks, including colostomy care, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and help with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and cleaning
- Escort me to appointments and social outings as needed
- Administer medication that has been prefilled into daily med planners.
- Help feed and take care of my cat and leopard geckos.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. You will be fully trained on my care.
- Empathy and compassion.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
