What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant position at Home Health?
This is an PRN/as needed position. We hire a Paralegal/lawyer for our Home health agency/medical group to help us with the legal matters related to contracts and routine legal activity of the agency. We don't have any litigations at this time but as we grow we do need additional legal advise and protection. The ideal candidate should:
- identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes and other pertinent material
- have knowledge about Medicare regulations in Healthcare industry
- organize and analyze information
- cross-check and validate information
- prepare written reports
- draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contracts and legal memoranda
- Home Health experience preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $38,101.21 - $85,156.85 per year
