What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Aide/LNA - Peterborough, NH position at Home Healthcare, Hospice & Community Services?
HCS is seeking experienced Home Health / LNA to make home visits. Provide personal care and assistance with ADLs as well as light housekeeping essential to the patient’s health and social well-being. Activities shall be under the supervision of the appropriate professional therapist when the Aide carries out simple procedures as an extension of physical, speech or occupational therapy. Full-time opportunity working 30 hours per week with benefits.
Retention Bonus of $5,000 payable in quarterly installments during your first year of employment.
Requirements:- Successful completion of approved LNA training which fulfills Medicare and State regulation
- Minimum of one year experience of active employment as LNA with long term care, hospital or homecare settings;
- Current registration by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and evidence of twelve (12) hours of nursing related in-service education annually;
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- Must have successfully completed the LNA competency test with a score of 80% or better; and
- Possesses a valid driver’s license and access to an automobile during working hours that meet the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and state minimum liability insurance.
