Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to residents in assisted living and memory care environments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your primary focus will be on assisting seniors with daily activities while respecting their dignity and promoting their independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor the health and well-being of residents, including checking vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment.
• Ensure resident rights are upheld and advocate for their needs.
• Assist with mobility and transportation within the facility as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance caregiving skills, including first aid and CPR.

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of caregiving principles, including patient monitoring and memory care techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring residents when necessary.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.29 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
