We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to supervisors.
- Respect client privacy and uphold their rights at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic healthcare practices.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
- Empathy and patience when working with individuals facing health challenges.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
