Your Role as a Care Companion
As a Care Companion, you’ll provide both practical and emotional support to our clients. Responsibilities will vary by client needs and may include:
- Household Assistance: Light housekeeping to maintain a welcoming, safe environment.
- Meal Preparation: Ensuring clients have healthy, enjoyable meals.
- Transportation: Driving clients to appointments or assisting with errands.
- Engaging Companionship: Offering friendly conversation and participating in activities to enrich clients’ lives.
- Customized Care Plans: Following a care plan tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Professional Communication: Keeping open, respectful communication with families and team members to ensure the best care.
What You Bring to the Role
We’re seeking individuals who are dependable, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact. Essential qualifications include:
- A valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- A clean driving record
- Previous experience in home care is a plus but not required; training is provided
- Access to email and a mobile smart device
- A commitment to client confidentiality and ethical care standards
