What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA and GNAs - PRN ( Weekends) position at Home Helpers Home Care of Olney?
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. We specialize in one on one at home care.
Looking to gain extra income, we have hours for someone looking for short shifts, 4, 8 and 12 hours shifts. We are supportive of our caregivers and offer continuous training and learning opportunities, career growth, competitive pay rates, and an atmosphere of appreciation.
Looking for dedicated CNAs and GNAs to add to our growing caregiver family. Shifts: Monday through Friday as well as someone having availability/flexibility on the weekend or every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
