Hours : Saturday & Sunday 3pm - 10pm
Home Helpers Home Care of Waldorf, MD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Care Professional (CNA) to join our team. This role is perfect for Certified Nursing Assistants or Home Health Aides who are looking to make a difference in the lives of our clients during the weekend. The Weekend Care Professional will provide essential care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Personal Care : Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
- Mobility Assistance : Help clients with walking, transferring, positioning, and using mobility aids.
- Medication Management : Remind and assist clients with medication administration as prescribed.
- Meal Preparation : Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating, if necessary.
- Housekeeping : Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing bed linens, and tidying up living areas.
- Companionship : Provide emotional support, engage in meaningful conversations, and participate in activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Monitoring : Observe and report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or condition to the supervisor.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of care provided and the client's condition.
- Safety : Ensure a safe environment for the client by following proper procedures and protocols.
