Responsibilities:
- Helping clients live a rewarding life
- Assisting clients with daily tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, transferring, hygiene (showers, toileting), errands, companionship, etc.
- Being a kind, engaging, and attentive companion
- Being attentive to clients' needs and alerting necessary parties if there is a safety or health risk
What you need to be successful:
- A strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and listen to feedback
- Compassion for and interest in people from all walks of life
- Dependability!!
- Experience as a caregiver is helpful but is not required—we can train you
- Physical ability to complete the job (rolling someone over in bed, assisting with balance as standing, etc.)
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Pass a strict 40-year background check and drug test (APS and CPS records checked too)
- Able to work independently
- Reliable attendance record
