Marketing/Community Liaison
Home Helpers Home Care provides in-home non-medical services for seniors and people with disabilities. This typically includes, but is not limited to, assistance with light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, toileting, transportation, errands, meals,medication reminders, companionship and more. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in caring for seniors, but all others will also be considered if they are willing to learn!
The Marketing & Community Liaison's main objective is to find and follow up with leads through a variety of marketing activities. This position will promote community
relationships with surrounding professional organizations and manage the general awareness of Home Helpers products and services.
Pay is based on experienceand qualifications.
Bonuses paid quarterly based on area growth in revenue.
Job Requirements:
- 1 year marketing experience prefferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented,service-oriented, and self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills, as well as high adaptability to our growing company.
- Self-starter with excellent presentation skills and ability to listen effectively
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains confidentiality of all company information.
- Meets project deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
- Proficient computer skills in Social Media, Excel, Canva etc.
- Must be at Least 18 years of age
Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate new business by developing a network of referral sources that will send new clients on a regular basis.
- Maintain and develop existing referral sources.
- Identify and engage in community events to educate others about Home Helpers.
- Demonstrate creativity in ability to bring new ideas in lead generation.
- Be compassionate about the services we offer.
- Maintain a professional business attitude, attire, and conduct at all times.
- Preparation of proposals and presentations using company marketing resource materials, such as brochures, data, slides and equipment.
- Delivering marketing programs that support the growth and expansion of products and services.
- Develop and conduct client sales presentations.
- Compile and maintain status reports on marketing efforts based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing.
- Research, schedule, and participate in community marketing events including health fairs, senior expos and any other event that would promote our services to the general public.
- Coordinate and assist with community events and trade shows.
- Identify new opportunities within the community.
- Cover shifts for clients as needed with rotating on call weekends
- Other duties as assigned.
This position a 9-5, hours can be somewhat flexible with about 40 hours per week.
