Home Helpers is needing caregivers and we are offering paid PCA classes to get you started.
What is a PCA? A PCA is a personal care aide who goes to a clients home in their community to provide the services the client needs.
As a Personal Care Aide - PCA, you will provide essential caregiving support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), patient observation, and maintaining a clean environment. While no prior experience is required, your core skills in caregiving will be complemented by premium skills such as first aid and home care. You will work closely with patients in various settings, including group homes and assisted living facilities, making a meaningful impact on their quality of life.
Job duties include;
Light housekeeping
Meal prep
Personal care
Hygiene assistance
Companionship
Our PCA class is local to you and is taught by our trained staff. We can have you ready to start your new career after just one day!
Pay is based on experience, certification and availability. Pay is paid out bi-weekly. With options for daily pay.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
