Duties
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Help residents maintain a clean living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist individuals with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs as required.
- Support residents in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.
- Uphold resident rights and ensure dignity is maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with long-term care practices and group home environments is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely, ensuring their comfort during transfers.
- Experience in meal preparation for individuals with specific dietary needs is a plus.
