Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance due to various conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer‘s. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in both home and community settings, ensuring the comfort and well-being of those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients, promoting independence and inclusion.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by following established health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Skills
- Proficiency in assisting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
- Experience in home care settings and familiarity with community care resources.
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and respect for client dignity.
- Knowledge of caregiving best practices, including CPR certification.
- Ability to administer medications accurately as per healthcare guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
