Are you a compassionate and reliable caregiver looking for a fulfilling part-time role? Home Helpers, a trusted in-home care agency serving Bergen County, is hiring a caregiver for a female client in Ramsey, NJ.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Expanding to Monday-Thursday in March)
- Location: Ramsey, NJ
- Pay Rate: $18 per hour mileage reimbursement
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the client’s morning routine, including light personal care and companionship
- Drive the client to local physical therapy (PT) appointments
- Provide gentle encouragement and reminders throughout the day
- Help with light meal prep and tidying up
What We’re Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and dependable caregiver
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required for transportation)
- Prior experience as a caregiver, CHHA, or companion is a plus but not required
- Someone who enjoys engaging with clients and providing meaningful support
