Responsibilities (will vary by client):
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming)
- Follow a plan of care
- Communicate professionally with families and your team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment
- HHA/CNA
- TB Test or Chest X-ray
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Level 2 Background Check
- CEU's (Alzheimer/Dementia, HIV/AIDs certificates)
- Prior home care experience a plus
- Access to email and a mobile smart device
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
We're a great fit for you if you:
- Are currently Florida HHA/CNA
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification and continuing education requirements
- Current Physical & PPD or Chest X-Ray
- HIV/Aids training*
- Assisting with self-medication training*
- Alzheimer's training*
- Level 2 Background Fingerprinting (will schedule if needed)
- Hold a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Have a smart phone and email account
- Understand the importance of ethics and client confidentiality
- Applicants must be willing to complete all necessary requirements for employment
- Required: Pick up 5 shifts minimum a month
- Standard shift:
- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekend shift
- Overnight shift
