Position Responsibilities
Hiring of Caregivers:
- Post and Manage Job descriptions for really daily and renew weekly.
- Contact and Screen Caregiver candidates for open shifts daily.
- Conduct in person interview for Caregiver positions.
- Conduct Orientation for new Caregivers and remain their primary point of contact for the first 30-60 days.
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed by all new Caregivers within the first 30 days.
- Complete 30 day evaluations for new Caregivers.
- Address and manage emergency call-outs each morning working alongside our Scheduler position.
- Fill open shifts daily to ensure both client and caregiver needs are met alongside our Scheduler position.
- Ensure new caregiver schedules align with client needs, minimizing disruptions to in-home services.
- Complete file audits for Clients and Caregivers monthly.
Client and Team Engagement:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, their families, caregivers, and referral sources.
- Answer phones with a friendly attitude and check emails/phone messages routinely.
- Participate in weekly administrative meetings, providing solutions to leadership feedback.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and share proactive solutions to ongoing challenges with leadership.
- Assist in compiling and auditing client files monthly to maintain accuracy and compliance.
Problem-Solving and On-Call Duties:
- Multi-task effectively to address unexpected challenges or changes.
- Take on-call assignments as needed, ensuring client and caregiver needs are met after hours and on the weekends.
