Scheduling Coordinator
25 - $27 an hour
Full-time 36-40 hours per week

- EDUCATION : Some college is a plus and candidates with business education will be given preference
- EXPERIENCE : 2 years of administrative assistant experience, able to multitask, handle scheduling, run background checks, plan ahead to avoid issues.
- REFERENCE : One professional and one personal reference
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States and ability to pass a criminal background check

REPORTS TO : The Home Helpers Home Care owner
JOB SUMMARY : The Staffing Coordinator’s job is to support the business operations by coordinating staffing, managing the schedule, match the caregiver with the client, and respond to employee and client requests.
The goal is for no missed shifts, low stress, avoid caregiver burnout, which will give the best outcomes for clients and caregivers.
SCHEDULE : This is a hourly position and
Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm and potentially help with holiday and on-call schedules.
KEY FEATURES :
1)Understand the scheduling rules, systems, and anticipate future scheduling needs.
We aim for no missed shifts, no call outs, and proactive management of schedules. Proactively communicate with employees and clients so they are not surprised or stressed.
2)Communicate clearly with all members of the team. Report to the owner as needed.
3)Be sure each shift is recorded in WellSky.
4)Communicate clearly at the end of each shift to the team any action items and critical updates. Work with the team to think ahead, analyze the staffing needs, and anticipate gaps. At times may need to act as back-up overnight scheduler.
5)Successful orientation of new caregivers, manage the scheduling needs, and hire caregivers as needed.
6) Master WellSky (formally ClearCare)
7) Learn all online platforms used.
