The Companion/Sitter provides homemaking services as well spends time with an individual. The Companion/Sitter may not provide hands-on personal care to clients, per state regulations.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience working in a home care setting
- Must have valid NC Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Personal means of transportation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must be very dependable
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
Job Duties:
- Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety.
- Provide light housekeeping tasks, including such duties as preparation of meals, laundry, shopping.
- Provide companionship services, such as playing games, cards, reading, watching television and accompanying trips and on outings.
- Report to the Service Supervisor any incidents or problems related to his or her work, immediately.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client's behavior to the Service Supervisor.
- Follow the client's assigned plan of care.
- Provide escort service such as accompanying the client to doctor's appointments and other errands.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
Salary : $12 - $15
