Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor patient health by observing and reporting any changes in condition or behavior.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by adhering to established care plans.
- Help with medication reminders and assist with mobility as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks as necessary.
- Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality at all times.
Skills
- Experience in senior care or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic nursing skills is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy.
- Ability to provide direct support and patient monitoring effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for clients.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
