Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling needs for our non-medical homecare company. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the scheduling of client requested hours with caregivers days/hours of availability. You will provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Schedule client's desired shifts using our electronic scheduling system
- Coordinate with caregivers to ensure efficient use of their time
- Confirm shifts with clients and caregivers via phone, email, or text message
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client/caregiver information
- Answer phone calls and respond to client/caregiver inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide input regarding, and address, client and/or employee problems or complaints
- Assist with HR functions such as but not limited to new hire orientation day, reference checks for potential new hires, and participate in interviewing caregiver candidates from internal referrals.
- Work with management to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with scheduling software or not afraid to learn software
- Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
