What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infusion Pharmacy Biller position at Home Infusion Pharmacy?
Job Duties:
Daily billing of home infusion pharmacy services for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance companies
Post payments received to appropriate claims
Management of overall Accounts Receivable with a goal of receiving payment within 45 days of service
Job Requirements:
Must have a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commerical Insurance billing, the payment process cycle for primary, secondary, and tertiary payors including knowledge of EOBs, ERN, and PHARMACY CLAIMS submissions.
Professional but diligent in finding the answers needed to meet billing goals & requirements
Maturity and dependability with a proven track record
Must be able to embrace technology and the systems used for billing Accounts Receivable
Must work quickly, but also pay close attention to details and be thorough in your work
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of direct, Pharmacy billing experience required
