Home Instead is looking for quality Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) and CNAs with an excellent work ethic who is interested in working with our clients in Grand Junction and the surrounding cities! Services are meant to enhance the quality of life for seniors by helping our clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care, and compassion.
Job Description:
QMAP will be responsible for identifying and reporting care needs. The ideal candidate should have the ability to provide protective oversight and the ability to provide care based off individual care plans. Reviews medication administration records (MAR) and administers medications to the right client, right dose, right time, right medication, and right route. The ability to comply with company policies and procedures and state regulations in accordance with medication administration.
Job Requirements:
- QMAP Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Valid drivers license
- Be able to successfully pas pre-employment background check, driving record check, and Drug Test
- SSN Card
- Must be dependable and capable of pleasantly and tactfully communicating with clients, family staff and other agencies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
