*Job Summary*
The Scheduling Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our Home Care office by overseeing the scheduling of direct-care staff with elderly clientele/patients. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a background in medical scheduling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing staff assignments, and ensuring compliance with company standards and protocols.
*Duties*
- Oversee and manage team of scheduling coordinators to insure all patient requested schedules for service are staffed appropriately with direct-care aides as required by patient plan of care.
Manage staff utilization to maximise productivity while managing cost centers of overtime and unemployment compensation.
- Maintain accurate records of patient requests and employee assignments for service schedule changes and cancellations using scheduling software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations and report deficiencies to Director of Operations for corrective action.
-Coordinate with Director of Operations and Recruitment Manager to insure workforce levels are sufficient to achieve sheduling goals and patient hours growth.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external parties regarding schedules and assigmnet details.
*Skills*
- Proficiency in medical scheduling practices and familiarity with long term care/gerontologic clientele/Knowledge of basic medical terminology a plus.
- Experience with WellSky or similar healthcare management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent clerical skills, including attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication via telephone with patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
