How You Support Seniors:
- Ensure a safe living environment for seniors, including light housekeeping
- Provide personal hygiene and personal care assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, incontinence care, bathing, dressing and eating
- Help with mobility and transfers around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Manage healthy nutrition habits by planning and preparing meals
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication
- Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Provide companionship to help maintain emotional well-being and dignity
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
What it Takes to be Successful:
- Ability to independently accomplish tasks
- Ability to perform all essential job functions
- Flexibility in availability to meet the changing needs of those we serve
- Ability to work with all types of people
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation to take for the purposes of your shifts
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate

- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 25lbs.
