Home Instead Senior Care has immediate openings for caregivers in Wooster!
At Home Instead, caring is our passion, and it starts with our Care Professionals. We are looking for caregivers with a genuine passion for helping seniors, the ability to handle challenges calmly, and a strong commitment to teamwork and service.
If you don't have professional caregiving experience, that's okay! We welcome anyone with personal or less than one year of professional caregiving experience to apply.
Pay Rate: $15-17/hour plus $1 weekend shift differential
Shifts:
- Daytime Shifts from 4 hours to 12 hours from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm
- Overnight Shifts Available from 8 hours to 12 hours from 10:00 pm - 8:00 am
Requirements:
- Personal or professional caregiver experience
- Valid driver's license
- Personal, reliable vehicle with auto insurance
- Ability to lift or transfer 25 lbs
- US work authorization
- Must be able to pass a background
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to clients in home and community settings.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient observations, ensuring any changes in condition are reported.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain a valid driver's license for transportation needs.
