Home Instead is seeking dedicated and compassionate Live-In Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join our team and help fulfill our mission of enhancing the world's capacity to care. We provide a range of non-medical services that enable elderly adults to live comfortably at home while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Engage in companionship and stimulating conversation
  • Perform light housekeeping duties and prepare nutritious meals
  • Offer medication reminders and assist with scheduling appointments
  • Support clients with personal grooming and bathing
  • Assist with toileting and incontinence care
  • Provide specialized care for clients with Alzheimer's

Requirements :

  • Must hold a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in New Jersey
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to care for seniors and their property with utmost respect
  • Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients
  • Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs
  • Flexibility to bend, twist, and reach as needed
