What are the responsibilities and job description for the 40 HOUR CAREGiver position at Home Instead?
We have a new and exciting opportunity for anyone who is tired of part time hours for a "full time" position! All caregivers receive proper PPE to protect your self and your client. Non-Medical.
Benefits Of Home Instead
Must be able to make it to a shift in 90 minutes. Caregiver is responsible to respond to office calls within 15 minutes unless prior arrangements have been made. Must be available at least one weekend day every week. You cannot decline any shifts within the criteria. Companionship and conversation; Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation; Incidental transportation to and from appointments, errands and activities; Medication assistance and/or reminders; Alzheimer’s Care; Will need to be able to perform all ADL's (toileting, bathing, feeding, grooming, transfers, and ambulation).
Caregiver Skills And Qualifications
Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect; Ability to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end of life; Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner;
All caregivers must complete a background check and a urine drug screen. They must also possess a valid driver’s license, social security card/birth certificate, and valid auto insurance.
Prior Caregiving Experience Is Preferred, But Not Required.
All CAREGivers will go through specific training designed by Home Instead Training. After training, CAREGivers will feel confident going into the client’s home helping them achieve success with their emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing.
