What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Care Professional position at Home Instead?

Job Description

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals that are interested in working weekdays with flexible hours. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Pay is $17.25 - $ 21.25 / hour

MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with car insurance.

Duties and Responsibilities of a caregiver :

Companionship and conversation; Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation; Incidental transportation to and from appointments, errands and activities; Medication assistance and / or reminders; Alzheimer’s Care

Skills training provided by Home Instead

Requirements to be a Care Professional :

Ability to lift, pull, push 25 lbs.

Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen

Possessing a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with valid auto insurance are a must
