KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Answers the On-Call phone from home on weeknights, Mon-Thurs, 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 A.M and weekends, Friday at 4:00 P.M. - Monday 8 A.M.
- Contact CAREGivers to work emergency shifts with a sense of urgency.
- Occasionally work in the field with a Home Instead client to provide caregiving when coverage is needed.
- Willing to travel up to 45 minutes for a shift (mileage paid).
- Complete Client Introductions, Service Inquiries and Care Consultations with potential clients in their places of residence.
- Document all after hours activity via Google Docs.
ON CALL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live within 30 miles of the Sherman-Denison, Texas area.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass a drug-test.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Follows all policies and procedures.
- Must be able to relate information concerning clients and CAREGivers.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
- Maintains a professional demeanor in demanding situations.
- Works collaboratively with team members and all staff to solve challenges encountered with client and CAREGiver needs.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Stays up to date on all required training.
CAREGIVER RELATED REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable Vehicle with AC/Heater
- Auto Insurance in your name
- Valid Drivers License
- At least 21 years of age
- At least 1 year of caregiver experience
- Okay with both males & females
- Okay with working with clients that smoke
- Okay with both cats & dogs
POTENTIAL ON SHIFT DUTIES:
- Meal Prep
- Light Housekeeping
- Laundry/Linens
- Toileting/Showering
- Bed bound Care
- Home Health/Hospice Clients
- Animal Duties (walking/feeding)
- Running Errands
- Providing Transportation
