Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders
- Perform personal care tasks including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Engage in light housekeeping duties and meal preparation
- Offer transportation assistance as needed
- Attend to clients requiring specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, stroke recovery, or the use of mobility aids like Hoyer Lifts and Gait Belts
Skills:
- Proficiency in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities
- Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Valid driver's license and willingness to drive
- First aid certification is a plus
- Capacity for heavy lifting when necessary
- Background in caregiving, social work, or related fields is advantageous
