Caregiver Support Specialist

About the Role:

• Deliver exceptional care and support to seniors in their own homes, promoting independence and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation, ensuring a high level of personal hygiene and comfort.
• Monitor and administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes to relevant authorities.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the well-being of our clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.
• Support with light housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
• Accompany seniors to medical appointments and engage in recreational activities, fostering social connections and a sense of community.
• Document and report any changes in physical or mental condition to appropriate healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate ability to work with seniors, providing compassionate care and support.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, building trust and rapport with clients and their families.
• Hold basic first aid and CPR certification, with a willingness to obtain advanced training as needed.
• Offer reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, ensuring timely attendance at appointments and engagements.
