About the Role:

Blend your sales skills with a passion for community. As an outside sales representative, you will need to be comfortable working independently each day, out in the local medical community, creating and maintain relationships within that local medical community, communicating our value proposition, and conveying updated and relevant content. Past sales experience is definitely a plus, using Salesforce or similar CRM to keep track of your activities and progress. - Report directly to and work with the owner, who founded the company 28 years ago in Birmingham, and is very involved and passionate about caring for the elderly, while representing a team with many over 10 years of tenure.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with local referral sources like hospitals, SNF’s, HH, Hospice, physicians, and assisted living facilities. Being comfortable creating your own opportunities, follow up, ongoing nurturing of those relationships, and working independently throughout the week is a hallmark of this role.
- Drive Sales Goals: Achieve inquiry generation objectives and increase market share through consultative sales processes.
- Plan and Execute: Be creative! Develop weekly and monthly sales and marketing plans in conjunction with leadership.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Home Instead services effectively to referral providers with both individual meetings and group presentations.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of sales and prospecting activities to maximize territory potential.
- Lead Generation: Work within our current database of qualified leads, as well as continually developing new contacts through in person meetings, cold calling, emails, and networking. Presenting CEU's to referral providers as well.

Secondary Responsibilities:
- Client Connections: Conduct client/Care Professional introductions and quality assurance visits as needed.
- Community Involvement: Engage in various PR strategies to enhance brand visibility.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Educational Background: College Degree preferred
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, Home Health or Hospice consultative sales experience a plus. Nursing background is a plus.
- Driving Requirement: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Skills for Success: Strong communication, organizational skills, strong bias towards action, creativity, natural curiosity, professionalism, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or equivalent CRM
