Are you looking to help out in your community? Are you looking for extra income? Do you love seniors? Come join our awesome team! Home Instead is currently hiring compassionate and reliable CAREGivers to support older adults living in their own homes.
Wage: $17.00 - $19.00
Schedule:
- Days
- Evenings
- Overnights
Job Type: Part-time, Full-time
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer s Care
- Personal cares as needed
- Assist with running errands
- Transportation to appointments
- Engage in activities as tolerated for entertainment
- Provide verbal cues or instructions in order to help client complete a task
Requirements:
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver s license and valid auto insurance as well as a reliable vehicle (required if driving clients)
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner
- Must have compassion and patience
