On-Call Caregiver : $50 / daily stipend and $18.00 / hour for anyhours worked during the shift period - Monday - Friday
Home Instead is looking for experienced,caring, and compassionate caregivers to become a part of our teamand join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adultsthroughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety ofnon-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home andmeet the challenges of aging with dignity, care andcompassion.
Must be available to work, ifneeded, from Monday - Friday for any open shifts.
Primary responsibilities include, but are notlimited to :
- Companionship andconversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and mealpreparation
- Medication and appointmentreminders
- Alzheimer’sCare
- Ability to treat and care for seniors andtheir property with dignity and respect
- Abilityto communicate with clients in a friendly and congenialmanner
- Complete a criminal background check,motor vehicle record check and drugscreen
- Possess a valid driver’s license andvalid auto insurance (required if driving forclients)
- Experience preferred but skillstraining provided by Home Instead if needed
